Hi there! 👋 My name is Haley (she/her), and I'm the maker, photographer, graphic designer, website admin, and brains behind NonToxicRainbow. I'm a one woman show based out of Nova Scotia, Canada. Everything you see here has been envisioned and created by me!

I've been crafting and selling my creations since 2008, when I was 15, and my mom @espiritdesigns helped me set up my first Etsy store under the name "The Cryptic Cupcake." I've gone through a couple name changes since then, but settled on NonToxicRainbow many years ago. I'm back after a 5 year break - you might recognize me or NTR from various craft shows and local stores in the Halifax area.

I've dabbled in almost every creative hobby there is - sewing, photography, polymer clay, painting, graphic design, resin, stamping, zines, and everything in between. Thanks to my hobby-hopping, I'm able to incorporate all my skills to make NonToxicRainbow what it is today - an extension of who I am as a maker, and a reflection of my current creative interests.

I've also spent the past 15 years working various retail, customer service, and inventory positions, which has really helped me bring NTR to the next level. I LOVE being able to put my years of knowledge and experience into building something so near and dear to my heart.

When I'm not crafting or creating, you can probably find me in a forest, chasing after a new bird with my camera, and collecting flowers & foragables for my next project. Or maybe I'm curled up at home, playing a video game and snuggling my two guinea pigs (and attempting to snuggle with my betta fish or crested gecko).
